Shear walls resisting horizontal forces acting on tall buildings can easily be analyzed by Continuous Connection Method (CCM) when they are perforated. This study considers the dynamic analysis of two-bay coupled shear walls on elastic foundation enhanced with stiffening beams. The analysis starts by writing the compatibility equations for the vertical displacements at the midpoints of the connecting and stiffening beams, for each and every unit loading at a time. Using the displacement vectors, thus obtained, the stiffness matrix is found as the inverse of the flexibility matrix. Substituting this stiffness matrix and the mass matrix, obtained with the lumped mass assumption, in the free vibration equation, the natural frequencies and the corresponding mode shape vectors are found. Finally, the time history analysis of the system is carried out.
