© 2021. All Rights Reserved.In this study, the Academic Career Awareness scale was developed in order to reveal the views of university students about graduate education and being academic staff. The validity and reliability study of the scale was conducted on 470, 4th grade undergraduate students studying at Akdeniz University. In order to determine the construct validity of the scale, exploratory factor analysis was conducted. In addition, it was determined that the structure revealed in the exploratory factor analysis was confirmed by the confirmatory factor analysis. According to the results of the reliability and validity analyzes, the scale consists of 31 items and 4 dimensions. The total variance explained by the scale is 61.72%. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the entire scale was calculated as. 971. The reliability coefficient of the dimensions is respectively;. 951,. 825;. 861, and. 854. As a result, it can be said that Academic Career Awareness Scale is sufficient to reveal university students' views on academic career awareness.
