Özet

The effect of melatonin treatment on the testis size and plasma testosterone concentration in male coloured Mohair goats was investigated during non-breeding season. Seven animals were used in each of the control and melatonin group. The mean scrotal circumference and testis diameter increased in both groups throughout the period of investigation. A significant increase in the plasma testosterone concentration was observed at 7th week following implantation.
