Özet

Introduction: Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a gram negative, unipolar, and spiral-shaped microaerophilic bacteria. Gastric colonization of H. pylori has been established as an etiological factor in chronic gastritis, peptic ulcers, atrophic gastritis, gastric adenocarcinoma, and lymphoma. Only a few studies have examined the effect of H. pylori density on clinical, endoscopic, and histopathological findings. The present study aims to investigate the association of H. pylori density with clinical and endoscopic findings as well as histopathological findings that are particularly observed in atrophy, intestinal metaplasia, and dysplasia.
