Özet

ABSTRACT

Niosomes are non-ionic surfactant vesicles that become important non-viral gene delivery systems. They have advantages of low toxicity and easy production on a large scale. In this study it was aimed to develope ternary complexes of BPEI, pDNA and modified niosomes prepared by using linear polyethylenimine, low molecular weight chitosan and βcyclodextrin polymers. Cytotoxic effects of these gene delivery systems were evaluated on HEK-293T cell line and β-cyclodextrin niosomes and niopolyplexes were found as the most safest gene delivery systems.
