Özet

The two major river water resources of the Middle East, namely the Euphrates and Tigris, are jointly shared mainly among Turkey, Syria and Iraq. An adequate supply of good quality water is an essential element for the survival, economic welfare and prosperity of these countries. However, the supply of water is limited by water naturally renewed by the hydrological cycle.
