Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, beden eğitimi öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin tutumlarını bazı değişkenlerle karşılaştırmalı olarak incelemektir. Araştırmaya, 2011-2012 güz döneminde Akdeniz Üniversitesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümünde öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 110 öğrenci katılmıştır. Veriler, Çetin (2006) tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenlik Mesleği Tutum Ölçeği” aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin bilgisayarla çözümlenmesinde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, T-testi ve Anova kullanılmıştır ve anlamlılık düzeyi 0.05 olarak kabul edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 17 paket programından yararlanılmıştır.  Araştırma sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine ilişkin toplam tutum puanlarının “yüksek” düzeyde olduğu görülmektedir. (x:138,03±23,23; min:94-max:175). Toplam tutum puanları ile sevgi (r: 0,974), değer (r:0,741), uyum (r:0,845) alt boyut puanları arasında yüksek bir ilişki saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Sevgi ile değer (r:0,614) ve uyum (r:0,780) alt boyutu arasında yüksek bir ilişki vardır (p<0,05). Değer ile uyum alt boyutu arasında ise düşük bir ilişki (r:0,473) görülmüştür.  Bunun dışında öğrencilerin kişisel bilgileri ile bazı mesleki tutumları arasında anlamlı ilişkiler bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes of candidate teachers toward teaching physical education in comparison with some variables. There are 110 students studying at the Akdeniz University Department of Physical Education and Sports in the fall semester of 2011-2012, participated the research. Data was collected through the "Teaching Profession Attitude Scale”, developed by Cetin (2006). In the computer analysis of data, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, T-test and ANOVA were used and the significance level was accepted as 0.05. SPSS 17 computer program was used to analyze the data. As a result, scores of candidate teachers' attitudes toward teaching was found "high" (x: 138.03 ± 23.23; min: 94-max: 175). It was found that there was a high correlation between the total attitude scores and subscale scores of affection (r = 0.974), value (r = 0.741) and adaptation (r = 0.845). There was a high correlation between the subscales of affection and value (r:0,614), and between the subscales of affection and adaptation (r:0,780). There was a low correlation between the subscales of value and adaptation (r: 0,473). In addition, There was a significant relationship between students' personal information and some professional attitudes.
