Özet

In this study, a total of nine irrigation treatments, one of which was farm irrigation (T1) were examined. T2, T3, T4 and T5 were irrigated with traditional methods with the percentages of 125, 100%. 75% and 50% traditional irrigation according to the data obtained from the A-Class evaporation pan, respectively. T6, T7, T8 and T9 were irrigated with the amount of water applied to T2, T3, T4 and T5 respectively with the use of the partial root drying (PRD) irrigation. leaving one half of the root dry at each irrigation. The soil sampling was taken at the beginning and end of the experiment to determine the salinity level. In the study, the lowest salinity (0.500 dS/m) was measured at the beginning of the season and the highest salinity (1.560 dS/m) was measured at T3 at the end of the season. Increases up to 1.35 times were calculated in the seasonal salinity values compared to the beginning of the season, As a result, it is recommended that the salt accumulation in the soil should he removed with the use of an effective washing process by means of a good drainage system at the end of the production season for a sustainable irrigated agriculture.
