Özet

L-type calcium channels blockers binding sites are located in the dorsal horn where this place have an important role on processing noxious information. The purpose of this study was desingned to investigate the effects of verapamil on the antinociception and motor block of lignocain at the level of the spinal cord in rabbits. In our studies we found that intrathecal administration of calcium channel blocker(verapamil) did not show any antinociception. But co-application of local anesthetic and calcium channel blockers there was synergistic effect statistically not significant.
