Özet

The aim of this study is to determine and analyse the development constraints relating to gender in vegetable farming systems in Antalya. For this purpose fifty vegetable farms that mainly produce under cover were surveyed in 1999. The development constraints are classified into four main domains namely economic, social, institutional and environmental. Each constraint domain is then subdivided into topics. Kendall's tau, a non-parametric rank order correlation coefficient was calculated for pairs of rank orders.
