Özet

Detection bloody voxels inside the white or gray matter of brain tissue is necessary to figure out where the tumor or where the functional bloody problem in head. This technique works by detecting light through the head and capturing the dynamic changes in the colours of the brain tissue. We have developed a novel model which consists of the structure of back-reflected and mix of transmission geometric model of diffuse optical tomography (DOT) for brain imaging. Monte Carlo (MC) simulation have been run for white and gray matter of brain. The commercially used systems generally designed as ring-shaped geometry for breast image reconstruction and recovery of tissue absorption differences detection over homogenous media. The sources and detectors are arranged in ring-shaped geometry on the surface. The sources illuminate outward from surface of the organs and the detectors collect the diffused light from the same surface. Depend on the source-detector matchup positions geometry can be accepted as back reflected or transmission through. Sources are on the both sides of the human head model and detectors are on the forehead. For the simplicity of the problem 3 simple z layers have been considered. In developed system, we have used totally 25x25x3 voxels in x, y and z axis, respectively. There is totally 12 sources (designed as 6 sources on the right and 6 sources on the left side of the head model) and 11 detectors. The preliminary results of developed system is in good accuracy.
